BEFORE I SAY YES
Discover how to slow down your automatic response, recognize the difference between "I want to" and "I feel like I have to," and start including yourself in your own decisions, without rigid boundaries or becoming a completely different person.

The simple body check-in that reveals what you actually want even when your mind is already making excuses for why you "should" say yes
As a recovering people pleaser, this guide was a nice reminder that saying yes to things is not about other people - it's about how I feel. The questions Irene asks are things that I usually skip before I commit to something that I don't want to do. Then I find myself stressed and overwhelmed. This is a nice reminder for me to take time to process my feelings before immediately replying yes to something. I just recently was feeling pressured to commit to a project that I didn't have time for. I went through the steps and was able to decline and not feel bad about it! Thank you Irene for reminding me that putting my needs first is ok

This was written exactly for me, lol! The idea of being at ease when answering someone's request is foreign to me. I have always believed that helping out wherever I can was the right thing to do, even if it didn't align with what I truly wanted. This guide helped me not treat every request like an emergency, but to stop and listen to what my body is telling me. Thank you, Irene, this is amazing!

A PERSONAL NOTE
I help women who've spent years prioritizing everyone else reconnect with themselves, trust their own voice, and start including themselves in the decisions they make.
I'm a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Trauma-Informed Coach and I know firsthand what it feels like to lose yourself in all the automatic yeses.
I grew up watching the women I loved fading their own spirit under everyone else’s needs. "Others first" was the unspoken rule, and I didn't realize how deep that pattern ran until I found myself completely burned out, dragging myself out of bed, crying in the bathroom mirror, wondering where I had gone.
Everything changed when I stopped trying to just "set better boundaries" and started understanding why my nervous system wouldn't let me say no. I dove into trauma-informed healing, somatic work, and trained in Rapid Transformational Therapy to meet the pattern where it actually lived: the body.
One uncomfortable step at a time, I started including myself in my own life again.
I created Before I Say Yes because I needed someone to tell me my needs were worth listening to too and nobody did. So now I do that for other women.
See you inside,
Irene
